Imperial German Lion Head Miniature Officer's Sword
Made by D. Peres, this miniature officer’s sword features a gilt plated lion’s head grip with signature p shaped knuckle guard with rope and knot and a curved blade. The fullered blade retains original plating and luster. Includes fitted leather scabbard. These were often used as letter openers by German officers and higher ups. Engraved D Peres Germany on blade.
The sword is in excellent condition with the sheath showing some wear, see photos. Vintage to antique in age.
